Friday - My Challenge

Greetings Internet Campus Family,

I am posting this early for a good reason. You see, tomorrow, I am off the grid. I will not be on the Internet or E-mail for a 24 hour period starting today at 8:30PM until tomorrow @ 8:30PM. Pastor Troy has challenged members of the staff to fast from technology for a day and concentrate on praying for the weekend. I accepted that challenge and will do just that. Whenever I feel the urge to check my email or look up something on the Internet...I will pray. Who will I pray for? You. The Internet Campus. The world. All of those and more...

Now the Bible cautions us not to brag to others that we are fasting. Please hear my heart...that's not why I'm telling you about mine. I just want you to join in with me.

Here's my challenge to you...will you give up something for a day? Whatever might be distracting you from prayer...lose it for one day. Instead, spend that time praying for God to do big things in your life and the lives of those on the Internet Campus. Are you in?

I hope to see you this weekend online. I am so excited to hear the message and experience Christ's presence with you.
