Greetings Internet Campus...

This week, we're going to look at the Christmas story as told by Luke....

Luke 1:34-47

34 Mary asked the angel, “But how can this happen? I am a virgin.”

35 The angel replied, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you. So the baby to be born will be holy, and he will be called the Son of God. 36 What’s more, your relative Elizabeth has become pregnant in her old age! People used to say she was barren, but she’s now in her sixth month. 37 For nothing is impossible with God.

Let's digest that last phrase...I know that you are looking at something difficult as you start your day...

Is it financial? Are you so afraid to lose your job because you wonder how you'll pay your bills?

Is it spiritual? Have your prayers been hitting the ceiling and going no farther? Does God seem far away?

Is it emotional? As Christmas approaches...are you feeling sad? Angry? Depressed?

I know that this week holds something special for you. How do I know? Because, if you are a Christ follower, you serve a God where NOTHING is impossible. Unexpected prosperity and peace in the midst of a financial storm.... Hearing God's whisper in the middle of a crowded thought life... finding out that He really IS enough when we don't know where to turn. That's the God that we serve.

Nothing is impossible with God. Nothing. When things seem tough this week....focus on that little baby born to a virgin. And remember that His way of doing things doesn't always make sense to our minds...but they are always perfect.
