Greetings Internet Campus Family,
Philippians 1:3 "Every time I think of you, I give thanks to my God."
As a Pastor, I am given the opportunity to preside over funerals. As you would expect, most of the people that I come into contact with during the event are sad or crying. I hear terms like "If I just had one more day..." or "I wonder if they knew how much I loved them..." So many people are thankful to the deceased for their impact in their life...only it's too late to tell them.
It doesn't have to be this way... We can tell those that are important to us exactly how we feel while they are still around to hear it! Ask yourself these questions...
Do they know how much I care about them? Do they know how thankful I am for their part in my life?
Bigger than that... does God know how thankful I am to Him?
This week's devotionals are going to be a little different...a little more personal...a little more time spent with your journal taking some inventory of your thoughts.
Today, I'd like you to think about thankfulness. What are you grateful for? In your journal today, make a list of at least 10 people that you are grateful for... Make the effort this week (starting today) to tell those on your list that you are thankful for them. Tell them specifically why you are grateful to them and what important part they play in your life.
Let them appreciate your feelings now...today...be an encouragement to those that mean so much in your life...
See you tomorrow,
Pastor Brian

Brian,
I am so thankful to God and to so many people at FRC that have helped me keep my sanity over the past 6 months. It doesn't stop there; 3 guys at our new church helped Margaret and Clara move to a different rental house when I wasn't able to be there. This past Sunday I was able to thank them. Being a servant of God people thank me alot, but there's no way I can out give God. I always feel indebted to him.
Staying in touch,
Stan
