Thursday 3-20-08 "How?"

Greetings Internet Campus,

Today we are going to look at how to get baptized...what does it require?

1) A commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior - You've got to give your life to Christ before you can be baptized. Baptism is the first step of obedience that Jesus has called us to do after that life-changing decision.

2) Water - Following Jesus' example, baptism is performed by submersion. Why submersion only? Every baptism in scripture is by submersion. If we are going to follow Christ's example, we've got to have water...and go under it to be baptized.

3) Someone to baptize us - You've got to have another believer willing to baptize you. This can be a pastor or lay person...as long as they are Christ-followers.

That's it. The last step is for you to have the courage to do it. It will forever change your life. If you are thinking of getting baptized, there are two ways to do it this weekend.

A) Live @ Dania Beach at 6:32AM OR after any service Friday or Sunday @ our Cooper City Campus.
B) Online....all you need is to know a believer who would be willing to be my hands for your baptism...and leave the rest to me to set up.
